Powhatan Little League is a volunteer-run organization, and we deeply appreciate all of our volunteers: board of directors, managers, coaches, assistant coaches, team parents, and anyone who helps us make this a healthy, fun and positive environment for our children.

The safety of the children within our organization is our highest priority.  To that end, we have the following protocols in place for our volunteers:

All volunteers (head coaches, assistant coaches, score keepers, and team parents) must have a current background check. Little League rules require this to be done on an annual basis. NO ONE is allowed on the field without an approved background check. If you have signed up as a volunteer, you must have this done prior to assisting with the team in any way.

Please fill out the following contact form, which will be submitted to our safety director. You will then receive an email with a personalized link to complete the required background check.

 

If for some reason you are not able to submit this form and need to submit a paper application, you may access it here.  This must be completed fully and a copy of your driver’s license attached to it. Once completed please turn this in either at walk in registration or the mandatory coaches and information clinic (DO NOT MAIL).
